Innovation thrives on diversity, team spirit and the courage to think beyond boundaries. It is precisely these values that characterize the corporate culture of the wenglor sensoric group – day after day, at all locations worldwide. Whether in Europe, Asia or North America, colleagues everywhere are working to shape the future of automation with passion and expertise.
Because wenglor doesn’t just stand for sensor technology, Machine Vision or smart software solutions. wenglor stands above all for people who work together on ideas, share knowledge and learn from each other. This diversity of cultures, experiences and perspectives makes our company strong – and ensures that real innovation is created from technology.
Our international teams are networked across time zones, regularly exchange ideas and drive projects forward together. But at least as important as the professional exchange is the interaction outside of everyday working life. Whether at sporting activities, cultural events or joint celebrations – such moments create connection, trust and motivation.
Just how lively this team spirit is at wenglor was demonstrated once again at our colleagues’ most recent team event in the USA. At the end of August, the wenglor team hosted a Wild West-style BBQ – with plenty of passion, creativity and fun!
Under the motto Wild West, the barbecue was fired up, cowboy hats were donned and the summer was celebrated once again. With lovely decorations, appropriate music and plenty of Western flair, the company premises were transformed into a small ranch for a day. The teams came together in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoyed the food and took the opportunity to chat away from work.
Of course, the traditional cornhole tournament was not to be missed – an integral part of the summer festival that many had been looking forward to in advance. Exciting duels showed that it is not only precision in sensors that counts here, but also in target throwing.
After a series of intense matches, the winners were finally decided: Chris Grashel and Logan Hepp secured victory and with it the title of this year’s Cornhole Champions. Congratulations to both of them – and a big thank you to everyone who took part, organized and celebrated.
The Western-style BBQ was more than just a summer party – it was an expression of the wenglor spirit in action. Such events show that innovation is not just created at a desk or in the production hall, but in an environment in which people feel comfortable, laugh, share ideas and make a difference together.
Whether in the USA, in Germany or at one of our many international locations, it is this mixture of expertise, enthusiasm and team culture that connects wenglor worldwide.
We are already looking forward to many more encounters, celebrations and shared experiences – because it is precisely these that make wenglor what it is: a strong, international team that sticks together across borders.
