Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us at wenglor: it is a central component of our actions. In our Climate and Energy divisions, we implement targeted measures to use energy more efficiently and reduce CO₂ emissions. In doing so, we combine modern technologies, in-house production and process optimization to pursue a holistic approach.
The optimization of our heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems is a key component. By using highly efficient ventilation systems with heat recovery, we can save energy and at the same time ensure a pleasant indoor climate in offices and production areas. Some systems also have humidification and dehumidification functions that support the comfort and productivity of our employees.
We also use geothermal energy to generate heat and cold in an environmentally friendly way. This method not only reduces our energy consumption, but also helps to reduce the carbon footprint of our sites. We also pay attention to the insulation of our buildings and the continuous optimization of our ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Sustainable energy supply is another important aspect of our strategy. We rely on photovoltaics to generate electricity and have implemented a combined heat and power plant that supplies additional energy. This enables us to cover part of our energy requirements ourselves, reduce our environmental impact and at the same time increase the security of supply at our sites.
The combination of renewable energy, geothermal heating and cooling and energy-efficient building systems forms the basis for a sustainable energy concept that makes both ecological and economic sense.
For us, sustainability does not end with the implementation of individual measures. We pursue a continuous improvement process that encompasses all areas of energy generation, consumption and building technology. This includes optimizing existing systems, integrating new technologies and adapting processes to use energy more efficiently.
The aim is to reduce CO₂ emissions in the long term, increase energy efficiency and at the same time ensure comfort for our employees. In this way, we combine climate protection with operational efficiency and create a sustainable basis for the future.

At wenglor, sustainable management is not an individual project, but an ongoing process. By combining geothermal energy, photovoltaics, a combined heat and power plant, energy-efficient ventilation and air conditioning systems and continuous process optimization, we are making our energy supply sustainable. With this approach, we reduce CO₂ emissions, increase the efficiency of our buildings and production processes and actively contribute to the responsible use of resources.
